SINCE THE YEAR 2000
Hope has had a dedicated commitment and constant presence in North Memphis and the surrounding communities with the creation of Oasis of Hope.
In 2014, Hope’s investment in North Memphis became even deeper when we decided to plant a new type of church–contextualized and relevant to the community–to include those who have given up on traditional church but not given up on God.
On September 11, 2016, Hope City Church successfully launched and welcomed 85 people to its first official weekend worship service. We ask that you continue to partner with us through prayer as we work to fulfill the calling of God to serve families in the North Memphis community.
ABOUT PASTOR COOPER
Pastor Cooper is a graduate of Union University (Germantown) where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Leadership and his Associates of Divinity Degree. He plans to further his education by pursuing a Master of Divinity Degree. He is a visionary and has an inspiring message for those who would dare to do common things in an uncommon way. His involvement with several schools, churches, and community organizations in Memphis and Shelby County has granted him a wealth of experiences that has made him both knowledgeable and motivational.
Most importantly, Pastor Cooper prides himself in being a loving and devoted husband to his wife Sheri and a compassionate father to 2 sons Kofi and Cohen.
